In the 1980's I worked as an Integrated Circuit Layout Designer using a CALMA II computer. This means that I was drawing the circuits that went onto computer chips. The software I used was the forerunner of today's CAD (computer aided design) programs. The computer was so big it had its own temperature controlled room.
During the 90's I set up a BBS (online bulletin board) for a local company and was the SYSOP. This was the beginning of computer networking and I was what would soon be known as a webmaster. I then started my own little computer school - The Fourth R - and began teaching children and adults how to use their computers.
During the 2000s I worked with the FBI making sure the agents were up to par with their computer skills. I continued to expand my computer consulting business in Palm Beach County, Florida.
I am now a bit of a gypsy, primarily located in Palm Beach County, but traveling a lot with my husband who is fixing power plants around the country. I love designing web sites and helping people with their computer issues.
